Hello and welcome to Nodehill's Study Skills Blog!
As from September 2007 Study Skills in our school will be taking a Learning to Learn approach. On our blog you will be able to find examples of work and also the types of activities we are carrying out as part of our Study Skills curriculum. Our goal is to empower children to take control of their learning and produce critical thinkers, decision makers, problem solvers and effective life long learners. We would appreciate feedback and ideas and hope you enjoy our blog.

In this unit, I have learned to cooperate and compromise to write a letter to apply for a job (so you bend your way a bit to reach an agreement taking all ideas into account).
I am a V-A-K learner (visual-auditory-kinesthetic).
I have found out Nathan wants to design games, and Dan wants to work at a car dealership.
This unit will mostly help me in the social aspects of other lessons by helping me get on in a group, and to listen to other's ideas.
I enjoyed this unit because it makes a change from the normal solitary work e.g. writing a letter together instead of on your own.
I enjoyed writing a letter to Nintendo with Nathan the most. I could improve with athe speaking/listening aspect of work.
